  • Star What does your remote support cover?
  • Our remote support agreements give you unlimited* support for your computers and server on your network. By having access to your computers and servers we are also able to perform support on printer, router and other network attached devices.

    Like with our maintenance agreement, you get a guaranteed response time and pro-active server monitoring but with a low cost simple pricing structure.
  • Star How do you provide remote support?
  • There are two main methods of remote support:
    • Telephone support
    • Remote control your computer

    Telephone Support: EPX is able to speak to you about any issues and talk you through steps to resolve your issue.

    Remote control your computer: Alternatively EPX can securely log on to your computer/server and control it. This method is becoming the most popular way of support as it offers a fast and effective method of support, allowing you to get back to what you do best much quicker.
  • Star Can all problems be fixed remotely?
  • EPX can support between 80% - 90% of your problems remotely, but there may a couple of issues that may prevent remote support for example hardware failure and if your broadband is down.

    If EPX is unable to fix a work remotely, we are able to organise an on-site visit to resolve the issue, this would be charged at our standard hourly rate.
  • Star Who is this service best for?
  • This service would be ideal for companies that need a someone to act as 1st line support. This options means your staff can call directly without the worry of charges escalating without your knowledge.
  • Star How much does it cost?
  • Our charges are simple and clear:
    • £9 per PC per Month and
    • £45 per Server per Month

    That's it!

    If you do require an on site callout this will be charged at our standard hourly rate.

*Fair Usage policy applies. Up to 20 hours support or 10 separate requests per computer per month.
