However, as an IT consultancy we use more energy than most and have a responsibility to help reduce the amount of carbon we produce. EPX has invested in energy saving equipment including efficient monitors, low-energy servers and computers, the humble light bulb and more!

We believe that as your IT consultant, we can help you to reduce your energy consumption and carbon footprint too. We try and reduce the number of on-site callouts required, by providing more remote monitoring and support services. This also helps to reduce downtime - saving our customers money.

However, in an attempt to make your IT equipment more energy efficient EPX – working with Marchant Cain Projects, has developed an IT policy amendment specifically designed to make your company more energy efficient.

Reducing your energy requirements is a good start in reducing your carbon footprint. EPX manages many servers all over the world used to host websites, phone systems, exchange mailboxes, remote backup systems and more. EPX has joined the NativeEnergy scheme. This scheme is designed to offset energy used by these servers and the contribution is used to aid renewable energy projects to reduce the need for fossil fuels. Hosting any of the above services with EPX helps you to play a part in reducing your carbon footprint.
